What's it all about?
As official Staying Alive Foundation Ambassador, Travis trekked the globe visiting grassroots, youth HIV and AIDS prevention projects.
He might be home now, but the adventure is far from over... Travis has been tasked with writing a brand new track based on his experience.
Keep tabs on the entire adventure right here on this site. Keep a watch out for opportunities to get involved and cool comps!

You’ll probably recognize the t-shirt above if you followed our travels…
Here’s the deal… Karmaloop and Shepard Fairey have teamed up to create a one-of-a-kind t-shirt with 40% of proceeds heading directly to the Staying Alive Foundation. The shirt was exclusively designed by Fairey, who is best known for his iconic design of the Barack Obama “HOPE” poster during the 2008 U.S. Presidential election.
Fairey says, “AIDS awareness is really important especially in areas where people aren’t as aware or it’s culturally taboo to talk about it. The goal of the T-shirt graphic is to say let’s fight this, to get the message out, to talk about the issue and to encourage safe sex.”
We love it.

Hey everyone - it sure has been quiet on this blog of late. Travis has been crazy busy touring, moving to Miami and everything else in between (including getting a new dog called Stitch - see pic (who is kinda cute!) - and playing the Hip Hop Honors).

Tomorrow morning Travis is catching the 6.3oam flight from CT back to Miami where he’s gonna be hooking up with the Smeezingtons and laying down his new track specially for Staying Alive.
James and Georgia have gone over there to keep tabs on it all. James will be filming a few bits in the studio for the documentary (which by the way is almost ready!).
Stay tuned for updates and pics!

So, as many of you will know, we ran a competition a few weeks back on cool creative site Society6 to find an artist to design the cover of Travie’s new track.
We recieved 193 entries and the standard was super high. Props to everyone that took the time to submit their portfolio.
Anyway, when it came down to it, it was Josh Clay’s work that really stood out. Now I know he’s done stuff for GCH in the past but when we saw these paintings - below - we knew he was the guy for the job.

BUT we also want to give special shout outs to the close contenders, whose work we also love:
X&R Creative

Agent Adjacent

Defi The Norm

Josh will be working with Trav to come up with a vision once the track is complete. Stay tuned!
